hi beloved friends!!!
sorry for the late update. i know this fews days are really exciting and its really really goood. just hope that the time will stop on FRIDAY...
1st i'll start with friday's gb sec4 farewell party.
for the past 4 years, this is the most well prepared farewell party like what everyone say.
the sec2s and sec3s were really good. when we saw the things they prepared, we have nothnig to be choosy about.
they took about more than a month to prepare this.
almost everyday after school i'll see them around school or gb room just to discuss this and that.
then the theme is "BABIES!" so we have to wear baby colours like light pink. went to buy cloth and made funny stuff for ourselves. lol
when we 1st reach the church, all the girls were standing in 2 distinct lines den when we walk past them, the all salute. can you imagine how honoured we are...
den when we saw the deco, its so surprising.
they played music for us, use LED lights, like those orchard lights during chhristmas, den got lots of balloons den like candle light diinner. its just amazing.
had games. den after games we had dinner. though dinner isnt very good but its the heart or thought that counts. even they give us bread we will not even make a sound cos they had given us the best already.
dinner is catered
after dinner went to the faith hall and have our some kind of fellowship time or so.
den they say sec4s will be sitting at the front.
den b4 thhey present thheir "touching" video, i requested to have my video played 1st to have some laughter.
had singspiration. sang " a common love" this song is very meaningful to us at that part of the time. especially the lyrics.
den ms liang present to us some gifts from the girls. its a really long message slotted into a small bottle.
den Sarah present to us a song. den the girls were given chances to say some things to us using a microphone.
in the very beginning, Sophina started crying. imagine a sec1 crying so badly just because we re leaving and we got to know them less than half a year.
den Joanna started crying, den janell, xiaoyan, rachel, xuejun, felicia yong, yvonne cheng, minyi and some. sorry if i didn mention. couldn rmb all.
but could see that all were very sad.
even the sec4s teared too.
den after that we have a pass down thing.eg. the squad leader pass down her role to the new squadleader. 1st time our company practice that.

and yes. they were all crying non stop. minyi was crying while receiving her squadbook.
lol.
lastly they played a video for us. first we had a humorous video and eventually it ended with a touching video done by minyi and friends. suppose to end at 8 but in the end it ended at 9 plus close to 10.
i am very grateful to God for putting me in GB if not now i might not be as good as what i am now though i am not perfect.
and yes! lastly GB girls, you all are loved!!! Thank you for the farewell. its the best one we've ever attend to us.
