Its time to blog bout the NE show on last sat.5th july!One word to describe!"Truth!" lollame la! went with Cheng. went to convention centre at bout 2plus den went to the MOE excel fest2008 just because got give the goodie bag which is super lousy!had a bottle of newater. loland some magnet thingy.saw the contingents marching in to their holding area. should be exhibition hall 403.den waved to abigal.went marina square for a short while. go starbucks again. very addicted to starbucks now. den we took some pictures den saw many ppl going in to the seating gallery so we chiong there also.typical Singaporean. i mean gb girl. it reminds me of pbb when Jolene Tan chionging the toilet. lollime green seats.had the funpack.
so goodie bag= funpack. i just realised. and this yr's ndp funpack looks...you shall see it yourself. containing 2 packet drinks1 newater 1 chicken tidbits or so1 poncho1 naturalpacket of dinosaur sweet1 national flag1 cap by Akira which means there is some techonology thingy. there is lightings1 gloves stuff which needs to be pumped. mine got hole la! how to blow![but i took pic]1 blueberry breadhmmm... cant think of other stuff. oh & 1 red thingy to form a card or something. lousy quality. lolsuppose to be seated by 4.45. we were seated at 3.20+.den its super hot so we were fanning ourselves.had pre-parade 1st. like cheering, kallang wave, opening masceleta, performance by choir and play the passing of ball.oh had the motorbike stunts, military band from SAF and precision drill.& the yearly performance by the red lions! had parade and ceremony. our favourite part! the parade commander and sergeant major seemed to be thhe same as last yr. LTC Mark Teo and another guy. the name very long.saw GB contingent. the hentak s****! thats what minyi and yong said too.haha. they need to march up the slope. the music was "we are singapore".and then the best part! the Colour party and GOH contingent.ZAI ar!SAF, RSN, RSAF, Police force.they were standing on cement ground instead of platform. den again the super loud zooming sound of the F-16 fly past.
fortunately we are not on thee platform if not will be able to feel the vibration like last yr.this year they had choir. last yr we had chinese orchestra. -_-.had singing of national anthem den the same thing, they open their umbrella.this yr they open once only.
had inspection by the president. this year the president didnt inspect them. only guard of honour. haha. last yr we were really fortunate. got to wave at "His excellency, Mr SR Nathan" lolSIMULATOR! lolfollowed by gun salute! cheng & i were like saying the command together with the commander cos we can even memorise after 4 months of ndp training last yr.we were sitting on the floor cos we were videoing and taking pictures den if we keep on standing, the ppl behind us will curse and swear i guess.considerate singaporean!the marchpass of colours party and GOH are alittle diff from last yr. but damn nice.den the same thing the suppporting contingents run into the back.had the Black knights aerial display by the RSAF! truth! damn nice. the jets flying and stuff.after that we went off cos we went to meet the rest at lavender. took pictures, unpacking our funpack. exchange funpack with cheng. den i realised cheng's funpack the bottom was spoil when i reached home. but its ok.
i just hope i got another funpack. and another ticket! heheoh ya, went tiong bahru plaza LJS and had dinner with cheng and minyi. den daddy drove us back. den i ask him whats the meaning of "simulator", den he tell me "see you later". loli miss ndp07 badly.Platform: last yr was a flat piece of blue platform.this yr had stairs, room for thhe performance to come out. slopes. and the links.dull grey.This year had more performance. got the previous years' ndp feeling,unlike last yr[abit simply]. but last year was more grand i felt,maybe cos 1st yr at marina.hehe
just watch this yr's ndp den you'll know. =]
