*.* corporals camp north zone. *.*

hello babes and dudes!back from corporals camp.3 days and 2 nights of endurance... ENDURANCE???

you must be thinking why! but don feel like blogging out why.but roughly you ppl will know.this camp is indeed very fun, can see froms the girls and officers and post sec girls.it is indeed more fun than some of the camps i'd attended like sec3 camp and 54th sec1 orientation camp 2005. like what Ms angeline says its the best corporals camp compared to the other zones.

but... i didn get to experience the fun myself.sad to say that. had been wanting to cry when i called mummy, daddy, shelley baby and ms liang. cos they all asked me how was the camp and why i sounded so sad.lol. and i even bluff liangliang that i was having sore throat thats why sounded sad.

Imagine you were at the front dealing with te PA system which i had nv like doing PA whereas the other officers and post sec girls were at the back together

Imagine you were asked to stay in the auditorium and be the roomguard whereas all campers, officers and post secs girls were at the basketball court.

Imagine you were not attached to any groups and couldn join the group for reflection time and group talk. so all you do is sit at a side and watch them. how would the campers look at you? are you here to help or slack, somemore they greeted us mdm. Mdm slacking?

Imagine the united together games you were sitting at a side looking at them playing even the officers and post sec girls were involved.

AND NOW!!! IMAGINE JOLENE TAY SUCH A TALKATIVE, PRO-ACTIVE AND ALL THE CRAZY THINGS YOU CAN THINK OF ME DURING CAMPS WHETHER AS A HELPER OR CAMPER WILL BE SO "SELF RELIANT" OR MAYBE I SHOULD SAY "LONELY" IN THIS CAMP.HAHA. i just want to laugh... laugh what, being sarcastic...

so do i really deserved the cip hours??? if only i get to do more things and not being so left out for the 1st day... i would really love this camp.

but i wouldn deny that the officers and post sec girls were nice. but you see... how close can you be with the officers and helpers there when you just know them for a day or two and hardly talk to them.

I prayed for times that God will send me someone whom i can talk to and can accompany me throughout the camp. but God didn send me one, he sent me most of the officers and post sec girls to interact with me a little at times. but still you see... but ii wont want to say that God didn answer my prayer.i am thankful.

the 47th NYP post sec girls,mdm helen and mdm eileen sat with me for meals.

they were quite friendly but they were sharing bout company matters and i'm not from their comany so how to join in the conversation.

and during workshops, most of the officers were slacking, just couldn sit still throughout the 1 hour plus workshop. so i went out to sleep and during activities where officers and postsec girls joined their groups, i was sort of "exploring" the whole campsite... go to the basketball court, field[ the place where i played catching with seven2 during sec1 orientation camp06 and fell down]lol

, sat at the canteen and talk to God, having quiet time and siniging to myself.

i really take my hat off to Ms Jolene Tay Hui Ping... lol. how can someone like her being so lonely for hours... incredible!!!

during the united together games, it was really fun. the girls were very funny. i was at the auditorium when the chair game was played, the girls hugging each other tightly and yes, imagine 10 ppl stading on 3 chairs and some quite fat... lol. then mdm eileen have to support them if they will not complete the game.

i was laughing like mad...but if only i could join in den i would be really enjoying.

And yes, Mdm Laura saved me!!! but why she came so late. grrr...

she came in the night la. i was so happy to see her...

she came to me and ask why i am here, why you nv join the groups den i told her my old grandma story... lol. den i told her i was doing PA throughout, den she was laughing away...

and chat with her til sleep time. and yes, she will be one of the PBB officers... i really hope i will be in her group! and she was complaining bout the corporals that their uniforms were badly placed, den i suan her back. lol

day 2 was alot better. drill is the best!!! Janet came with Dorothy. and yes, suddenly i was like in 5th coy. den when ms chua came, mdm laura went off.

drill was short i felt...

i pair up with peiling[post sec girl 18th] to take group 7 and 8.

it was the time which i talk and talk and talk...

And during the workshop, i went exploring the campsite again and i called mummy, mummy knows i didn enjoy the camp, and she told dad... i called baby too.

and took a nap at my dorm with 2 other post sec girls[13th]

i woke up 20 mins later and when i leave my dorm, i looked down and saw everyone in full u!!!

den i look back at yueming[post sec 47th], orderly of the day and asked her i if i need to change, she just smiled, that means need la. and i was fuming mad at the 13th coy post sec grils, they knew it and yet went down themselves without telling me!!! arh!!!

and i was rushing with my uniform to thhe toilet and guess what, i changed in like less than 5mins, amazing!!!

1st time Jolene Tay change so fast!!! and i didn even wear my landyard and name tag properly so i was running and wearing at the same time. haha. ii hope this will help me in PBB.

lol.

and finally i joined in for the night games which is called "the test" in day 2. so the station masters missed the performance of the girls during "corporals night".

and i paired up with Mdm Aini[74th] and our game station is "path of fear" the girls will have to crawl on the ground with flour, sand, starch, sea water, egg and soapwater blindfolded.

damn dirty sia!

and b4 the girls could play the games, they will be pushed down the groundsheet on a slope with starch, egg and soapwater. den the girls damn funny, they were so scared.

had a long and tiring day... slept at 2 plus and Mdn yuet ling and Aini made root beer with vanila icecream for us. so nice of them.

Finally it was the last day...had area cleaning, briefing, camp evaluation and photo-taking and yes!!! home sweet home"

Some officers talked to me and saiid that i was very quiet... and some thought that i was from 5th coy and some even thought that i was a camper... lol

and one thing i wasn happy is that they kept calling post sec... den i don know if i should respond to them anot.

and some of the 5th coy girls still remembered me as their drill instructor
